About Us
At The Canine Cabin Devon we know how much your dog means to you, therefore we open our own home to offer a kennel free friendly environment where they will become a member of our family for the duration of their stay.
With access to five hundred acres of private land and woodland there is ample opportunity for quality exercise and natural enrichment. Based just a stones throw from Dartmoor National Park we occasionally make a trip up to the moor or down to the beach for further fun and frolics.
DOGGY DAYCARE
We offer dog daycare during the week for busy parents or for anyone looking for increased socialisation of their dog
Includes two to three walks a day with added play time and enrichment
Monday to Friday - 8am to 6pm
Full days and half days available
Mondays to Fridays
Full day - £20 Half day - £14

Our Services
HOME BOARDING
We provide boarding for your dog in the comfort of our home whilst you are away on your holidays
During their stay your dog will be welcomed in as a member of the family, cosying up with us in the evenings after a busy day of walks and socialising with the day care guests
Mondays - Sundays
Min. £24 per 24hrs*
*price per full day/night varies dependent on length of dogs stay
Mandatory 'meet and greet' day required before first stay - £20

We are fully insured and licensed by our local council so you can rest easy knowing your dog is in safe hands
With lots of experience we hold qualifications in professional dog day care and boarding as well as a degree in animal science
We aim to provide fun and rewarding enrichment for your dog through the use of exercise, play, brain games and positive training
Some House Rules
PLEASE READ
Before your pet can join us we require the following:
vaccinations
• Your dog to be up to date (within the last 12 months) on their annual booster vaccinations and to be vaccinated against Kennel Cough
No titre tests or homeopathic vaccinations accepted
microchip
• Your dog to be microchipped with up to date details
AGE
• Your dog to be over the age of 12 months
CASTRATION
• Your male dog to be castrated
No chemical castrations accepted
BEHAVIOUR
• Your dog to be toilet trained and have an acceptable level of training which includes the ability to walk well on a lead with no excessive pulling
Before your dogs first stay we require a mandatory meet and greet settling in day to be booked to prioritise your dogs welfare and state of mind and to determine if our environment will be suitable for them. This will be a full day of day care charged at £20.
Providing your dog is fully house trained, has an acceptable level of training and is happy around the company of new dogs and people we will be happy for them to join our pack!
